Return policy

The Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven) applies to purchases on this website.

Complaint & defect 

As our customer, you have the right to submit a complaint within 24 months - for faults that were present when you received the product, or the cause of the fault was present.

If your complaint is justified, it means that you can get the item replaced. You need to send your complaint to help@birdie.design within "reasonable time" after you discover the fault.

Returning an item

We will cover the shipping costs for the return.

Please reach out to help@birdie.design when returning a faulty item. Our customer service will help you handle the complaint and create a return label. 

Ideally, we receive the item in the original packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please make sure to pack the item securely. Note, that we reserve the right to deduct a small amount from your return corresponding to the condition of the product if the above is not observed.

Right of cancellation & refund

You have a 30-day right of cancellation on items purchased on our webshop.

The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you received the item. We should be notified by mail hello@birdie.design, our customer service will help you create a return label.

When the item(s) reach the warehouse we will refund the amount through the same payment method used when placing the order.

We recommend that you send the product back in its original shipping package. If the item value is reduced by use, wrong handling, etc., we will deduct the amount for which you are liable.

Discount codes

Please note that discount codes can't be used when purchasing gift cards.

Discount codes can't be combined with other codes or discounts unless otherwise indicated.

By using the website birdie.design, you agree that we process your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. We are aware of the need for adequate protection and appropriate processing of your personal data.

Payment

Birdie accepts payment with all VISA cards, MasterCards, PayPal, MobilePay, iDEAL & Bancontact (Mollie). The payment will be processed once your product is shipped.

All amounts includes VAT.

Birdie uses an authorised payment server that encrypts your card information by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your payment information is safe with us.

Personal data

What personal information do we collect and process? As a rule, you can access the website without telling us who you are or providing personal information about yourself. However, Birdie needs certain information in order to make purchase agreements with you and provide news and other services to you. The company collects only the personal information that is absolutely necessary.

We need the following information when purchasing an item: Name, address, telephone number and email address.

The company does not collect personally identifiable information about you from third parties and does not store information about payment means, such as card numbers on payment cards, bank accounts.

Who do we share personal data with?

Personal information submitted to Birdie.design is only disclosed to:

• The company's internal departments
• Selected and trusted third parties who may use your personal information in order to deliver goods or services that you have ordered
• Business partners in order to register and maintain your user account.

In order to further develop and improve birdie.design, we collect statistics about how you use the website.

The personal data are registered with Birdie Scandinavia ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

We cooperate only with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide adequate protection for your information.

As registered with Birdie Scandinavia ApS, you are always entitled to object to the registration. You also have the right to understand what information is registered about you. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE ON ORDERS OVER 100€! 🐥
Orders placed before 3pm CET are packed and shipped the same day - except weekends & public holidays. 

We ship from our warehouse in Fredericia, Denmark. Packages are shipped with GLS, UPS, DHL, FedEX or other local shipping companies in your country of residence.

When your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link on email.

My country doesn’t appear at checkout, what do I do? 

We offer worldwide shipping! Including your country. 

However, - from experience - we know that some countries requires us to exchange a few extra details with you, in order to have a smooth delivery.
